Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; NDT Level II UT Phased Array Certification preferred.
  • 5 years phased array experience in NDT methods and procedures.

Job description

Position Summary

Acuren Inspection is currently recruiting for PAUT Technicians to support operations in New Castle, DE operations and surrounding areas.THIS WILL BE A CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION.

Successful candidates must be able to travel up to 75% throughout New Castle, DE and surrounding areas. (The environments will be Fab Shop, Petro-Chem, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Gas Plants, Refineries, Pipelines and Pharmaceuticals.)

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE FOR QUALIFIED APPLICANTS.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment, conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
  • Organize and report test results.
  • Perform specialized inspections.
  • May instruct and supervise others.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college preferred.
  • NDT Level II UT Phased Array Certification and TOFD.
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures with five years phased array experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment.
