Acuren Inspection is recruiting for qualified PAUT Technicians in Torrance, CA. Local candidates or those willing to relocate are preferred.

Responsibilities include conducting NDT tests, developing examination techniques, and preparing reports. Extensive knowledge of ASME and API standards is required, with supervisory experience a plus. Strong interfacing with clients and adherence to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background in NDT and five years of experience.
• Current NDT certifications required.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques with safety compliance.
• Evaluate results against specifications or standards.
• Identify, track and mitigate risk on client engagements.
• Review asset documentation and inspection data.
• Complete integrity assessments and site walkdowns when required.
• Prepare project reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• Develop techniques for customer certification approval.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Interface with customers on schedules and problem solving.
• Apply ASME and API requirements for continued serviceability.
