Job summary

Applied Technical Services (ATS) is seeking full-time Phased Array (PAUT) NDT Level II Technicians to support our Greenville, SC location. Ideal candidates will reside in the Upstate region or be willing to relocate; relocation assistance is available.

You will perform PAUT examinations in accordance with procedures and standards, mentor trainees, and coordinate with clients and managers to define work scope and priorities. U.S. export controls apply; ITAR compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Phased Array (PAUT) Technicians must meet Level II UT PAUT requirements and provide education, training, and experience documentation.
• Working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes.
• Ability to communicate with other departments and customers to report issues and solve problems.
• ASME and AWS experience, EPRI endorsement and nuclear inspection experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities to meet customer expectations.
• Prepare written instructions and organize and report the results of examinations.
• Work independently and support team members; perform other job-related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.
