Job summary

Nondestructive & Visual Inspection seeks experienced Phased Array (PAUT) Technicians for a long‑term project near Homer City, PA. The role requires five 10‑hour shifts weekly and experience with ASME/NDT standards. Chrome piping inspections are highly preferred.

Based in the Pittsburgh area, the candidate will set up, calibrate equipment, and report results. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and current UT Flaw/PAUT certifications, with familiarity of ASME/API/AWS

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Current UT Flaw and PAUT certifications.
Familiar with ASME, API, AWS welding codes and OSHA safety standards.
Able to pass FBI and company drug/alcohol testing and fitness checks.

Responsibilities

Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
Adhere to safety regulations and applicable specifications or standards.
Evaluate results and report test findings.
Perform specialized inspections and organize results.
Instruct and supervise others as needed.
Handle MT & PT inspections in lab or field settings.
Classify and size flaws and locate their positions.
Perform ultrasonic inspection per AWS D1.1, API RP2X, ASME sections I/V/VIII, B31.1/31.3.
