Job summary

Nondestructive & Visual Inspection seeks experienced Phased Array (PAUT) Technicians for a long‑term project near Homer City, PA. The role requires five 10‑hour shifts weekly and experience with ASME/NDT standards. Chrome piping inspections are highly preferred.

Based in the Pittsburgh area, the candidate will set up, calibrate equipment, and report results. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and current UT Flaw/PAUT certifications, with familiarity of ASME/API/AWS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current UT Flaw and PAUT certifications.
• Familiar with ASME, API, AWS welding codes and OSHA safety standards.
• Able to pass FBI and company drug/alcohol testing and fitness checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Adhere to safety regulations and applicable specifications or standards.
• Evaluate results and report test findings.
• Perform specialized inspections and organize results.
• Instruct and supervise others as needed.
• Handle MT & PT inspections in lab or field settings.
• Classify and size flaws and locate their positions.
• Perform ultrasonic inspection per AWS D1.1, API RP2X, ASME sections I/V/VIII, B31.1/31.3.
