Job summary

Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is seeking a machinist/designer to design and fabricate tools and parts in wood, metal, and composites for foundry processes or internal customers. You will work from blueprints, drawings, or 3D models, using math and basic computer skills, and may generate NC programs for machining centers.

Must have a High School/GED plus 5 years of education/experience. Nice to have include self-drive, time management, proactive attitude and strong communication
