Job summary

The Newport News Shipbuilding division of HII is seeking a skilled machinist/designer to fabricate tools and parts from blueprints, drawings, or 3D models. You will use CAD/CAM systems and generate CNC programs for tooling used in foundry processes or internal client projects.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED plus 2 years of related education or experience, with a self-driven, proactive attitude and strong time-management skills to coordinate with multiple teams.

• Nice to Have: Self-driven, time management, proactive, communication skills dealing with multiple parties.
