Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Patternmaker for the Mapleton, Illinois facility, supporting 2nd and 3rd shift. You will pattern and repair metal patterns using both conventional and CNC equipment, and you will work with CNC/CAD/CAM tools to support production.

The role requires the ability to read prints and adapt to changing process requirements. This position offers full benefits and shift differential, with opportunities to contribute to optimization of patterns in a foundry/machine shop

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read prints and interpret call outs.
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional machines on 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Construct and repair metal patterns using conventional and CNC equipment.
• Maintain cutting tools in CNC machine center.
• Utilize CNC, CAD/CAM software as part of daily tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
