Job summary

Racine County is seeking entry-level Deputy Sheriffs to perform patrol, water patrol, and court/conveyance duties within the Sheriff's Office. Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license (Class D) at appointment and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrol, water patrol, or court/conveyance duties as assigned.
• Respond to citizen requests, investigate activity, and take custody of individuals.
• Write reports, citations, and documentation; testify in court.

Associate degree or 60 college credits
