Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver License Verification in Oakland, CA to safeguard clients across multiple industries, including government transportation facilities.

As an unarmed security officer, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service. A valid driver's license and state regulations compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, terminals, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and permits.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and report as needed.
• Prepare reports and logs of patrol activities and observations.
