Qualifications

• Certified full-time police officer status required for eligibility.
• Current NH officers must be NH PSTC certified to qualify.

• Background checks including history, criminal and driving records, medical exams and psych eval.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Identify offenders and, where appropriate, apprehend them.
• Reduce crime opportunities via proactive patrols.
• Assist individuals in danger of physical harm.
• Facilitate safe movement of traffic and pedestrians.
• Identify and report potentially serious law enforcement or governmental problems.
• Maintain a sense of security within the community and promote peace.
• Perform related duties as required.
