Qualifications

• Must be TCOLE certified.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Must not have felony convictions; no Class B or higher in last 10 years.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Honorable discharge from the Armed Forces, if applicable.
• Able to pass Full TCOLE Background Investigation, Oral Board and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the assigned area to deter crime and ensure public safety.
• Investigate incidents and perform preliminary or follow-up investigations.
• Enforce local ordinances, state laws, and federal laws as applicable.
• Direct and control traffic; respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Engage with the community to address public safety concerns.
