Job summary

Qualifications

• Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance course for MOS 27X/94S/140L or equivalent
• 4 years field maintenance experience troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and functional verifications of Patriot or similar systems
• Experience with DAMWO installations, system integration and checkout
• Secret Security Clearance required
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Experience creating tailored reports in Excel from external data sources
• Advanced experience with inventory, maintenance, and baseline configuration control database software
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Experience with spares analysis and procurement
• Familiarity with Turn Around Time (TAT) analysis

Responsibilities

• The MIR will assist with testing, checkout, maintenance and repair of all Patriot major end items.
• The MIR will provide the expertise necessary to assist with single repairs, and those repairs that involve multiple end items.
• The MIR will act as the primary point of contact for the contractor when information is required for repair actions, procedures, solutions, and provide support to KAF contact teams.
• Additionally, the MIR will assist with preparations, integration and demonstration of pre, and post C-3 modified systems.
• The MIR will provide in-depth system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and troubleshooting skills required to resolve complex Patriot missile system Major End Items (MEI) electronic and mechanical problems.
• The MIR will provide day-to-day execution on the Kuwait Patriot TA program as well as demonstrate the ability to perform depot level diagnostic, fault isolation, cleanup and repair capability for Patriot Weapon System MEIs.
• The MIR must affect all electronic repairs on location with detailed system knowledge, the ability to use all the hardware and software tools currently available to Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance.
