Job summary

RTX seeks an experienced Dimensional Test Equipment (DTE) / Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) Engineer to sustain Patriot test stations in Kuwait. You will ensure proper configuration, diagnose issues, and maintain related systems under a Patriot Test Station Lead.

You must have a DoD Secret clearance (active), 4+ years in DTE/Patriot electronics maintenance, and the ability to train others while working in a demanding desert environment. Competitive package and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in operation, maintenance, and sustainment of DTE stations and Patriot electronics at component level.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Experience with general tools and commercial test equipment; replacement of components on circuit card assemblies.
• Existing DoD Secret clearance; able to work in extreme desert environments; lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Assist with determining operating ability of all contractor test equipment.
• Verify correct configuration of test station manuals, procedures, software, fixtures, and UUT.
• Troubleshoot test station hardware, software, and UUT issues at system and component levels.
• Provide interface with contractor test personnel for testing experience.
• Coordinate and schedule depot training activities for technicians.
• Operate and sustain PAT 243, PAT 244, PAT 247 stations and related units.
• Track signals and measure voltages to isolate problems at component level.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports and SPRs.
• Participate in on-the-job training and maintain test stations.
