Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to stay mobile and stand for periods.
• Ability to work in isolation precaution environments.
• BLS certification is required prior to performing patient observation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety under RN supervision.
• Perform frequent checks on patients with a Patient Watch Order.
• Prevent falls or wandering and provide clear directions.
• Document observed patient behaviors accurately.
• Must be able to travel with the patient when needed.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and behavior standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
