Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a dietary services assistant to prepare patient trays, set up and deliver meals to ensure quality service for patient health in a 306-bed acute care setting.

Qualifications include a High school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of cleaning or food service experience, and a valid Food Handler Safety Certification. Join a team focused on safe, compassionate care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: One year general cleaning experience is preferred. Customer service, meal prepping and cleaning in a specialized food and beverage area is preferred.
• License/Certification: Current Food Handler Safety Training Certification must have prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for preparation of patient trays and accurate setup and delivery of patient meals to ensure quality service to patient for optimum health.
