Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Patient Transporter positions at The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain in El Paso, TX 79911. The schedule includes Saturday through Sunday, 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with further details provided at interview.

You will be responsible for the safe, timely transport of patients and medical items, using wheelchairs and rolling stock, coordinating with nursing staff, and ensuring patient comfort.

Qualifications

• No experience required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients and equipment, secures IVs and drainage tubes, and secures the patient.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock to carry out duties and complies with patient age-related requirements.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, technicians or reception and dispatch.
• Maintains patient comfort, monitors signs of distress, and reports equipment malfunctions.
• Adheres to HIPAA policies and safety standards and performs other duties as assigned.
