Job summary

Providence St Peter Hospital-Olympia is seeking an attentive patient care Attendant to support nurses and keep patients safe through close observation and basic care tasks. You will document care activities and perform non-direct patient duties as assigned.

Under supervision of the Nurse Manager or Designee, you will help ensure a safe environment, comfort, and continuity of care for assigned patients at our Olympia campus.

Qualifications

• BLS/JCAHO-compliant CPR certification required at hire.
• Enrolled in or completed CNA course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform close, continuous observation to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document all patient observation and care activities.
• Assist with basic patient care tasks as delegated by the RN.
• Perform non-direct patient care duties as assigned.
