Patient Transporter - Van Driver

The Plaza at Lubbock

We are hiring a Van Driver at The Plaza at Lubbock in Lubbock, TX. Join a facility that specializes in long-term and rehabilitative care. If you are an experienced Patient Transporter - Van Driver, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain transportation vehicles safely and courteously
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Perform minor maintenance and fueling of vehicles
  • Ensure scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported
  • Prepare accident and incident reports as needed
  • Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle
  • Provide additional services as requested by management
Qualifications
  • Ability to drive multi-passenger vehicles safely, with the ability to read and interpret road signs in English
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Texas
  • Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs and perform minor repairs
  • Strong reasoning skills to interpret policies, maps, and routes
  • Ability to administer First Aid and CPR
  • On-call availability and willingness to work part-time
  • Minimum age of 25 years
  • Maintain a safe driving record
