Zusammenfassung

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a dedicated Transportation Aide to escort patients to inpatient beds and to key departments within the hospital in a safe, timely manner. You will also retrieve medical records, labs, supplies, and medications as needed, supporting smooth department flow and patient care.

Daily responsibilities include ensuring safety procedures are followed, monitoring transportation equipment, and maintaining clean, functional gear.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS certification required.

Summary:

Transports patients to their inpatient bed and/or to and from other areas such as admitting, surgery, therapy or radiology in a safe and timely manner. Retrieves medical records, lab results, supplies and medications as required. Prioritizes duties to facilitate department flow. Maintains and cleans equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that established safety procedures are followed throughout the transportation process.
• Monitors the proper functioning of all transportation equipment on a daily basis.
• Knowledge of patient safety, basic transportation equipment, infection control processes, clerical skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and good communication and organizational skills.

• BLS
