Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking a team member to provide safe, efficient transport of patients, equipment, and supplies within the facility. You will assist in training new hires and collaborate with multiple departments to meet transport needs.

The role requires familiarity with hospital layout, patient testing locations, and PHI handling protocols. You will perform data entry, receive dispatch information via Tele-Tracking, and adhere to proper body mechanics for moving

• Provides safe efficient transport of patients, equipment, and miscellaneous supplies.
• Performs transport duties as needed and assist in training new hires.
• Communicates with other departments to assess their transport needs.
• Required to interact with patients and customers to ensure patient/Customers’ needs are met.
• Must be oriented to physical layout of the hospital and locations of patient testing areas.
• Performs data entry and receives dispatch information via Tele-Tracking System.
• Must use proper body mechanics for lifting and/or moving patients.
• Understands and uses the Patient Identification and Alert Process.
• Must pass fit testing for N95 mask.
