Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients, their families and co-workers at handoffs and other times as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients for Radiology and ancillary departments to and from the nursing floor.
• Picks up laundry and restocks linens; maintains cleanliness of transportation equipment.
• Performs patient tracking workflow processes and adheres to isolation practices.
• Oversees training of students during Transport rotation.
• Communicate information during handoffs to ensure safe patient outcomes.
