Job summary

Baptist Health in Nassau is seeking a PRN Patient Transporter to join the Patient Escort Services team. You will reliably move patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers, ensuring safety and timely flow of care in a busy hospital environment.

In this role you will work closely with nursing staff, follow all health and education requirements, and uphold patient comfort and dignity while maintaining compliance with hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher.
• Provide safe and efficient transport using a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Work closely with nursing staff to maintain continuity of patient care.
• Comply with mandatory education and health requirements.
