Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services, part of Compass Group, is hiring Patient Transporters for the Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Medical facility in Panama City, FL. Roles are available as full-time or part-time with hours that include Monday–Friday and rotating weekends/holidays.

Training is provided and prior experience is preferred but not required. The position focuses on safe, timely patient transport, collaboration with hospital teams, and maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely transports patients, secures IVs, drainage tubes, etc., and secures patient.
• Uses wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to carry out essential duties.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting all age groups.
• Ensures safe, timely and accurate transport of patients to destinations with proper equipment.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, technicians or reception and dispatch.
