Job summary

Universal Health Services, Compass Intervention Center in Memphis, TN, seeks a Patient Transportation Driver to move patients to and from the facility and required appointments. The role includes occasional supervision during transport and coordination with the dispatcher.

Responsibilities include safe patient transport, adherence to DOT-driven vehicle inspections, and proficient use of GPS devices and cell phones.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• TN Driver License with F Endorsement or CDL.
• Physical examination per DOT requirements for Commercial Drivers.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from outpatient treatment daily in a safe and professional manner.
• Transport patients to and from medical appointments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatcher and manage pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Must understand and operate GPS devices and cell phones.
• Perform all duties as assigned by the Transport Coordinator.
