Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. Provides material supply services for a variety of departments as requested.

Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Certified Medical Assistant Licensure Preferred
Current Georgia licensure as a Certified Nurse Aide Preferred
EMT -B Certificate of completion of course work Preferred
Pharmacy Tech Cert Preferred
Completion of Nursing Fundamentals in Lieu of CNA Licensure Preferred
EKG or ECG course completion certificate
*** One or more of the above certificates or Licensure is REQUIRED.
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification - REQUIRED
Minimum Work Experience:
Previous hospital or nursing home experience- Preferred
