Qualifications

• Less than one year of experience as a transporter or in a healthcare support role.
• Preferred High School Diploma or GED; Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• The transporter moves patients throughout the hospital safely and efficiently.
• Responds to all codes and secures equipment as requested.
• Orients new personnel in accordance with performance standards.
• Collaborates with the patient care team to meet the needs of pediatric to geriatric patients.
