UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients safely and promptly throughout University Hospital. You will help ensure comfortable, courteous service and act as an ambassador of care for patients and families while supporting clinical staff.
The role covers transports to and from treatment areas, log-keeping, equipment handling, bed-to-stretcher transfers, and daily oxygen tank refills.
Pay range: $15.00- $18.70 / hour
Shifts: full-time and part-time AM and PM, flexi/PRN

To transport patients of University Hospital internally throughout the hospital complex. To provide safe, timely, comfortable, and courteous transportation for each patient. To exhibit utmost professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness to contribute to a lasting impression of excellence in patient care for patients and family members.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
