• Tuesday–Thursday: 10:30 am–4:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am–4:30 pm
• Monday, Friday, and alternate Saturday/Sunday: 12:00 pm–8:30 pm
• Sunday: 12:00 pm–8:30 pm
• Wednesday & Friday: 5:00 pm–11:30 pm
• Monday, Wednesday & Saturday: 8:00 am–4:30 pm
• Thursday: 9:00 am–5:00 pm

Job Summary

Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment, and patient‑related items to their destinations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely, securing IVs, drainage tubes, and ensuring patient stability.
• Use wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock in accordance with transportation protocols.
• Demonstrate competency in transporting all specific age groups.
• Ensure prompt and accurate transport to the designated destination.
• Communicate effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians, or recipients of dispatch.
• Maintain patient comfort and privacy, offering blankets, checking modesty, and engaging in appropriate conversation.
• Alert nursing staff immediately to signs of patient distress or equipment malfunction.
• Maintain equipment and report any repairs needed.
