Job summary

Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ, is hiring a Full-Time Patient Transporter to move patients and materials across the facility. The role requires assisting patients, guiding them to destinations, and handling luggage, with a schedule 7:00AM-3:00PM, every other weekend and holiday.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour, with responsibilities including transporting patients using wheelchairs or carts, delivering messages and records, and supporting a safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED/Equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• Exposed to extreme cold/heat; stands for long periods; lifts up to 50 lbs.

Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Patient Transporter. Required hours are: 7:00AM-3:00PM including every other weekend and every other holiday. Starting rate $18.50/hr.

• To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat and stands for long periods of time, bends, lifts, pushes and pulls up to 50 lbs.

Relevant Experience

• CPR certification preferred.
