Overview

Details: This full-time position works evening shifts with the opportunity to earn additional pay for evening, weekend, and holiday hours. The standard hours are 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

Responsibilities include transporting patients to and from various service points, including admissions, discharges, and ancillary areas, along with performing patient and equipment handling duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant experience or completion of IU Health transition-to-work program preferred.
• Training in competencies such as patient oxygen equipment, monitoring levels, patient transfers, and infection control policies required.
• Ability to follow oxygen transport policies, including attaching and monitoring oxygen tanks during transport.
• Physical ability to stand and walk frequently, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform stooping, bending, and twisting.
• Repetitive motion skills such as grasping and fine manipulation needed daily.
• No prior experience required.
