Job summary

Universal Health Services' Fairmount Behavioral Health System in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to support safe movement of patients, staff and visitors on a full-time basis.

You will transport patients to appointments, assist with waiting at appointments, and help with supplies as needed, operating a 15-passenger van with a clean driving record and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive a 15 passenger van or smaller vehicle.
• Ability to operate GPS to find locations.
• Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, staff, and visitors safely to doctor visits and discharge locations.
• Wait on location at appointments for extended periods as needed.
• Assist in purchasing and delivering supplies as required.
