Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Patient Care Administration, Supervisor, RN, and LPN, the transporter is responsible for providing safe, timely transportation of patients throughout the facility. This includes ensuring safety, providing basic physical care and comfort measures for patients, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. The transporter also helps coordinate the flow of patients between nursing, medical, and ancillary staff.
