Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Patient Transporter (Full-Time) to move inpatients and outpatients safely within the hospital and assist care staff. The role requires a high school diploma and BLS certification or completion within two weeks of hire.

Prior medical environment experience is preferred, with flexibility for varying shifts. Selected candidate will work under the Manager, Radiology, in a fast-paced setting focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification: BLS through American Heart Association required or must be attained within two weeks of employment.
• Skills: ability to learn to use wheelchairs, gurneys, electric beds, cell phones and digital pagers; strong human relations and time management.
• Experience: prior related work in a medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities
