Job summary

West Oaks Hospital in Houston, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a responsible Driver/Patient Transportation to join our team. The driver will transport patients to and from clinics and perform front office support as directed by the Manager, Outpatient Services, Therapists and Nurses to ensure safety and crisis management for the patient population.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a Texas driver license, CPR and de-escalation certifications, plus six months of driving and

Qualifications

• Education Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Current Texas driver’s license with good driving record.
• Licensure and certification Required: Texas Valid Class C driver license.
• CPR certification and hospital de-escalation certifications.
• Experience Required: Six months of driving and customer service experience.
• Preferred: One year experience as a mental health worker.

Responsibilities

• Patient Transportation and errands to the hospital.
• Responds to behavior crisis and assists with crisis intervention.
• Assists with clerical duties and miscellaneous needs in the clinic.
