Boston Medical Center South is seeking a Patient Transporter to support patient flow and deliver courteous service throughout the hospital. You will transport patients to and from departments and assist colleagues to ensure timely care and comfort.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6–12 months of customer service or hospital experience, and English literacy. Evening, full-time hours are offered with weekend requirements and competitive benefits.

The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to the patients, visitors, and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.
Compensation Range: $17.92- $26.63 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
