Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking an evening shift, full-time Cath Lab Transporter to move patients and equipment safely throughout the department.

You will support the care team by preparing rooms, assisting with patient transfers, and communicating with nurses and physicians to ensure smooth admissions and discharges. The role requires a HS diploma or GED and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assists during patient’s admission, transfer, and discharge process.
• Assist with procedure room and patient set-up.
• Demonstrates safe and effective use of equipment.
• Communicates effectively with peers, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Completes annual competency testing, scoring >80%.

• Demonstrates competency in managing potential patients risks, i.e. falls, need for restraints, isolation.
• Demonstrates safe and effective use of equipment.
• Assists during patient’s admission, transfer, and discharge process.
• Assist with procedure room and patient set-up.
• Communicates effectively with peers, physicians, community agencies and other members of the healthcare team.
• Completes annual competency testing, scoring >80%.
• Coordinates care with other members of the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates safe and effective use of equipment.
