Job summary

Tampa General Hospital's Radiology/Imaging Services team in Spring Hill is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients to and from the Radiology Department using a wheelchair, stretcher or bed, and to escort ambulatory patients as needed.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification; schedule is Monday through Friday, with five consecutive days. Other duties as assigned to support patient care and department efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross is required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department via wheelchair, stretcher or bed; escorts ambulatory patients as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the Radiology/Imaging Services team.
