Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Patient Transporter to safely escort and move patients throughout the hospital, using proper body mechanics and safety guidelines.

You will communicate clearly with staff and patients and ensure information sharing between Central Transport and other departments, contributing to patient flow and care coordination.

Qualifications

The Patient Transporter strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. You will be responsible for communicating clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients.
