Overview:

Full Time, 2nd shift-Evenings. As a Patient Transporter with Sentara, you will safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. The Patient Transporter strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. You will be responsible for communicating clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. You will also ensure adequate communication of information between Central Transport and other departments.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $17.54 - $25.58 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Sentara Leigh Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
