Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for providing safe transportation for patients between nursing units and to diagnostic and treatment areas. Also includes maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment in the assigned area. Work is performed under close supervision of a hospital supply technician or nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist healthcare professionals in the assigned work area.
2. Ensure medical equipment for patient transport is clean, functional, and report malfunctions.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
4. Procure, process, and deliver equipment, supplies, and resources as needed, including during emergencies.
5. Transport patients with various conditions, including those with special equipment needs, within the hospital for various purposes.

• Education: None required.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: No prior experience necessary.
