Job summary

Mercy Medical Center, Baltimore, is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients and items across the hospital, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will support clinical staff by transporting patients, equipment, and supplies as needed.

The role requires a Heartsaver CPR certification and a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates who have 1 year of patient transport experience. Shift starts at 7:30 am and ends at 4:00 pm, with weekend work required.

Qualifications

• Current Heartsaver CPR certification is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent with evidence of completing at least 9th grade or literacy assessment.
• 1 year of experience in Patient Transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

Transport of patients, supplies, equipment, etc. throughout the medical center.

Shift: 7:30a - 4:00 pm; 80 Hours Biweekly; Weekends Required

Requirements

• Current Heartsaver CPR certification
• High School transcript showing completion of a minimum of 9 th grade or successful completion of literacy assessment.
• 1 year experience in Patient Transportation preferred

Salary Information

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
