Job summary

Family Healthcare of Hagerstown is seeking a dedicated patient transport driver. Under the direction of the Office Manager, you will safely transport patients to and from appointments for primary care, dental care, and behavioral health services.

You will maintain the vehicle, ensure timely pickups, and support clerical tasks related to scheduling and registration. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 5 years of driving experience, a valid license, and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience and knowledge of local roads.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from appointments in a safe, timely manner.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance is current and report needs.
• Assist with scheduling calls to verify pickup times.
• Maintain daily reports and patient transportation statistics.
• Follow safety policies and protect patient privacy.
• Interact professionally with patients, families and staff.
