Description

As a Patient Transport Technician, you will be responsible for positioning, transferring, and transporting patients to and from various departments or locations using wheelchairs, beds, or gurneys. You may also perform teaching and training functions, dispatching duties, and limited clerical tasks related to patient transport. Additional responsibilities include:

• Equipment maintenance, cleaning, or disinfection
• Delivering and picking up specimens, blood, medical equipment, medical records, medications, and other items
• Transporting deceased patients to the morgue

The work schedule will be determined by management.

*Possibility of converting to a permanent position

Salary Range: $26.44 per hour
