Job summary

St. Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center in Wayne, NJ is seeking a part-time Patient Transport team member to move patients to and from testing and treatment areas, discharge, and fulfill STAT requests.

Responsibilities include transporting outpatients to inpatient areas and using the Transport Tracking System. Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred), ability to read and understand written instructions, and CPR certification within 6 months of hire, with BLS/ACLS/PALS requirements

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand written instruction.
• CPR certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from testing or treatment areas.
• Process STAT requests for specimens and patients.
• Discharge patients to designated areas.
• Transport outpatients to inpatient and testing areas using the Transport Tracking System.
