Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead the Patient Transport team. This role partners with management to plan, direct, and oversee operations, ensuring high-quality service and patient safety across a 24/7 staffing model.

You will provide direction to staff, coordinate scheduling, and monitor daily tasks while supporting the relocation of patients to and from care areas as needed. The position requires a proactive leader committed to excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience required.
• Intermediate knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, directing, and overseeing the overall operation of the assigned area.
• Provide direction and leadership to assigned staff and ensure tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate scheduling and monitor completion of routine tasks for staff in a 24/7 staffing model.
• Assist with transporting patients to and from the point of service when necessary.
