Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, incl. IU Health transition-to-work program.
• Must follow oxygen transport policy and monitor levels during transport.
• Able to stand for long periods and walk; lift up to 50 lbs; bend and twist as needed.
• Commitment to infection control policies and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from service points within the hospital.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and report changes to nursing staff.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely transfers and minimize delays.
