Job summary

PIH Health is seeking Hospital Assistants to transport Emergency Room and inpatients safely to and from exams under the supervision of the Manager of House Supervision. The role also supports Nursing and Ancillary areas with patient transport and related tasks within their scope of practice.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent and current BCLS CPR certification. Preferred: one year of experience in an acute hospital center. Willingness to work all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BCLS CPR certification.
• One year of experience in an acute hospital center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport ER and inpatients safely to and from exams under supervision of the Manager of House Supervision.
• Assist Nursing and Ancillary areas with patient transport needs and related tasks.
• Support other patient care duties within the staff scope of practice.
