Job summary

PIH Health Hospital Downey is hiring a Hospital Assistant to transport ER and inpatient patients safely between exams under the supervision of the Manager of House Supervision. You will support Nursing and Ancillary areas with transport needs and assist with other patient care tasks within your scope.

The role requires a high school diploma, current BCLS CPR certification, and a willingness to work nights. Prior acute hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BCLS CPR certification required.
• Basic phone communication and customer service skills needed.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Willingness to work all shifts.

Responsibilities
