Job summary

Qualifications

• No education required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple notes.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients between nursing units and to diagnostic and treatment areas.
• Ensures transport equipment is clean, functional and operational; reports malfunctions.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Procures, processes, and delivers equipment, supplies, nourishments, and other resources.
• Transports patients with varying conditions to discharge or other areas as needed.
