Aufgaben

• Transports patients between ER, nursing units, diagnostic areas, doctors' suites, morgue, and other areas of the hospital.
• Transports blood and other specimens on STAT and routine basis.
• Transports patients on portable telemetry equipment and monitors heart rhythms, rates, and arrhythmias.
• Uses Vocera and IVR for job assignment and completion.
• Cleans and disinfects carts, stretchers, wheelchairs, and equipment.
• Delivers patient equipment, beds, supplies, audiovisual equipment, and exchanges gas tanks.
• Maintains patient and staff safety per policies; follows CPR and codes when needed.
• Enters patient information into the EMR for each transport.
